Who is Marcia Cross?
Marcia, 56, was born March 25, 1962, and is an American actress.
She has a master's degree in psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles.
Marcia also graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting from Juilliard, New York.
She is best known for playing Bree Van De Kamp in Desperate Housewives from 2004 until it ended in 2012.
What TV shows has she been in?
Marcia began her career on daytime soaps such as The Edge of Night, Another World and One Life to Live.
She then moved to primetime television with a recurring role on Knots Landing.
From 1992 to 1997, she starred as Dr Kimberly Shaw on the Fox television drama Melrose Place.
And after Desperate Housewives finished she went on to play Claire Haas in American TV series Quantico.
When did Marcia beat cancer?
On September 26, 2018, Marcia revealed she is feeling "happy and healthy" following her secret battle with cancer.
The actress admitted she was bothered about losing her hair during treatment, as she posted a picture of her pulling a sad face.
She then asked fans who had gone through a similar experience to share their hair-loss stories.
The post came out of the blue for her followers who had no idea she had been diagnosed with anal cancer.
The next day she posted a message to explain more saying: "Dearest Kindest Followers, I am so sorry my post wasn't clear. I am POST cancer. All good now.
"Hard journey, but I am HEALTHY, happy, and more present and grateful than ever.
"Thank you from the bottom of my ever expanding heart for all of your LOVE."

Is Marcia married?
Marcia was in a long-term relationship with actor Richard Jordan, who was 25 years her senior, until his death from a brain tumour in 1993.
In 2006, she married stockbroker Tom Mahoney.
Marcia underwent in vitro-fertilization soon after their wedding and gave birth twins daughters Eden and Savannah in February 2007, shortly before her 45th birthday.
