So, I have driven my Logan for 7000 km.

As I understand the first service is at 15000 km (or 1 year). Is it so?

Second question: Is the serviceman supposed to charge the working hours for the ordinary service, during the guarantee period (2 years)?
I think not. But my friend went last week on 2nd oridinary service and he payed 182€. They changed: 3 filters (oil, air and gasoline), oil and did the car inspection. When he asked why is so expensive they said that they had to charge the working hours also (10€/h)?!

Anyone in Serbia having similar experience?

And how many working hours have they charged you, for God sake????

There are now 2 official Dacia dealers in my Town, both with their own services, and I hope the competition will do its job before I get to my first service... biggrin.gif

Hi
In germany They tried to charge me 196 euro for the 15000 km radmasa.gif
they changed the oil and I complained and said this is wrong it is just in for a check up mad.gif
They gave me my money back and charged 49 euros for the 15000km biggrin.gif
so it is 15000 49 euro and 30000 196 or around these prices
YES you must pay for the hours they work well Parts of the hours
they do need to live as well radmasa.gif

I suppose that it is left to service to charge work hours or not. I suppose this because there are not same prices in all services.
For example, I payed first service in Pancevo 3700din, second one 4050 (they did not changed fuel filter and spark-plugs because of only 24.000km driven. I should appear in service when I reach 30.000km)
That is price in Pancevo, but in Belgrade it is 6000-7000din as they told me when I was asking about 1 service.

Try in KOMPRESOR, Dorcol...I am stil far from service ( 2500km till now ) but they seem fine and not very expencive...any expierence?
Anyhow, this looks like serbian subsite ( with everpresent Stu offcourse ) so I have a question...Do you people actualy see what they're doing? In most cases they politely ASK you to leave and confortably wait 'somewhere' far from sight. And when you drop by to see how it's going, they look like faling from Mars. That was my opinion when I put alarm and music in my car in place I bought it. In other words how do you manage to be sure you've done right thing ( or rather if THEY done the right thing )?
thanks
Gretings to all...and Stu offcourse

Always scratch the Oil filter and a bit of paint on the sparkplugs
then you know the job has been done (not lots of paint just a spot)

Thank you all for answers.
One more question: when do they change the sparkplugs? On which service?

I'm driving Logan for about 44.000 km. It is advised to change engine oil, oil filter and fuel filter every 10.000 km in Serbia, due to low fuel quality. Air filter is changed every 30.000 as well as spark-plugs.
Prices in AK Sekulic Veternik, where I bought my Logan are following:
Motor oil Elf, synthetic, 5W40, 1 l = 700-900 din. depending of packing
Oil filter Renault = 300 din
Fuel filter Renault = 900 din
Air filter Renault = 1000 din
Spark plugs Renault = 350 din/piece

Work about 2500 din

In Beocin is another service, but they use Valvoline engine oil. However I prefer Elf for Renault engines smile.gif

my father, on his first chek on logan(1 year) payd at dacia service 160 ron ( 50 euro).
-all filters change
-oil change (they use Dacia oil-is cheaper than elf, or mobil or else)
with elf oil 10w40 all payment should not be over 70 eur.

but-on my clio in the first year service y payd 120 euro with elf 5w40, valeo filters(air, oil and AC) and 1 l of glacenol

same car, diferent money

service is 15-17 eur / H

about schraking oil filter-in serbia they do not let you near the car when service is made?
There is not the same politics in Dacia service?

Today I asked the dealership in my town about the price of the mandatory regular service, since they also have their own service workshop. They told me that the price for oil and filters (oil, air and fuel filter) was around 75 EUR, but depending on the state of the filters (that is, distance travelled), it might not be needed to change air and fuel filters, so for just oil and oil filter it would be around 50 EUR. I asked about the price of work, and thay told me that they DO NOT CHARGE the work!!!

The first regular service scheduled for monday. Parts and oil will be around 50 EUR, no charges for work.

I understood that regular services are at no charge during warranty period, therefore the first service is not charged, but the second will be charged (at least for me, I have a 2 year warranty) since technically it will be scheduled after the warranty expiration, unless I traveled more then 15000 km in less then a year.
