Hello to all,
Well i have onle 1 month and 2 weeks and there is another issue i just found.
The seat belt led sensor does not light on.
My Logan it's called Renault Logan Dynamique which is full equiped.
One of the features is the onboard computer, which should test all the sensor for all the services such as (air bag sensor, temperature sensor, brake sensor, etc.)

But after i ran the sensor test the, the test does not notify anything about the seat belt sensor. Hey, i asked the person from renault service and he went "uhmmmm" when he did that i really got worried.

Does Any one knows about this issue.

Thank you.

In romanian versions, the led for seatbelt is not even on the board...
And also there is no wire...

Hello to all i am attaching 3 pictures which are:
1.jpg show the board from my logan the red circle is the button to activate the onboard computer test.

2.jpg shows running the test

3.jpg shows the results after the test and in a circle the seat belt led it's off

The onboard computer should show a linking led or something telling me that this led is not working properly but nothing is there.

though it's not recommended....
to enter the test menu you have to keep pressing that button and then switch the key to the second position.

and i am almost shure that it does not have a seatbelt led mounted...

ga!nusha is right that's the way to do it.
If you see the 3rd picture i have the seat belt led on a red circle which shows that i comes with it, Down here in ECUADOR i will be asking a friend to see if that led it's working or not, in the mean time is there anyone else with a issue like this.

Thanks.

@ homerolo:
this "problem" is already well known. but there ist nothing wrong about it.

I don't know why but in some Logans this LED works well but in other Logans it's not wired. So it can't light.
A friend of mine told me, that in the manual is a information that "the seatbelt-LED does not function in some versions AND in some countries"

@klaus: I may be wrong, but as I remember the led was physically there in all Logan Laureate and above versions prior to "the lifting jack incident". On some cars it was lighting and on some others not lighting. (before turning the ignition key)
After they've recalled the cars back into service (to change the lifting jack), they've also disabled the led. Cars manufactured after 2004 don't even have it on the board.
And as I heard they have disabled it for all the cars that had it lighting "by mistake". I presume they used their software to do that.

On board the led should be grounded directly from seatbelt switch, is not grounded via UCH (it lights when the switch on seatbelt is put to ground).
So it cannot light first and after ignition turn off. It should light all the time the seatbelt is not plugged.
The ground from seatbelt switch should go to a connector at UCH for the bell to ring, but is no output from uch to the on board led. The led is simply grounded by the seatbelt switch.
