Howard Lederer is all in and at risk heading to fourth street against Jason Mercier and Ray Dehkharghani who remain active in a side pot.

Mercier has first action on fourth street and he checks. Dehkharghani follows suit and pulls paint on fifth street. Mercier bets and Dehkharghani lets his hand go. With Dehkharghani out of the way, Mercier and Lederer's hole cards are exposed.

Mercier flips up    for a made nine-seven low on fifth street.

"I'm going to need some help," says Lederer, showing    for a jack.

Mercier pairs nines on sixth while Lederer draws an ace, giving him some hope to survive. Mercier draws a   on seventh street, keeping his nine-seven low as the hand to beat. Lederer squeezes out a two-across card, but it is not the four that he is looking for. Lederer flings a   on the table and makes a quick exit from the tournament area.

Howard Lederer and Jason Mercier are heads up on fourth street. Lederer bets his lead, and Mercier calls. The action reverses on fifth street, with Mercier betting his own lead and Lederer calling. Both players check sixth street. Lederer checks seventh street, and Mercier bets.

Lederer needs some time to consider, facing a bet of 60,000 with only 72,000 chips left in front of him. After maybe 90 seconds, he does call.

Mercier shows     /      for a ten-six, and it's good. Lederer mucks, and he has less than two antes left in his stack. Mercier, on the other hand, was one card from elimination a few hands ago, and he's quickly nursed his stack back to nearly ten big bets.

Jason Mercier raises and Howard Lederer calls from the cutoff. Lederer states that he intended to raise but threw out the wrong chip. His action is deemed a call, putting the action on Ray Dehkharghani on the button. Dehkharghani tanks for about 45 seconds before calling. The blinds fold and action is three-handed to the flop.

The flop comes down     and Mercier bets. Lederer raises and Dehkharghani calls. Mercier moves all in for 47,000 total and both Lederer and Dehkharghani call.

"Good luck, baby," calls out Natasha Barbour from the rail to Mercier.

The   falls on fourth street and Lederer is heads up with Dehkharghani for a side pot. Lederer bets, Dehkharghani raises, and Lederer calls. The   finishes the board and both players check.

Lederer and Dehkharghani chop the side pot, with Lederer playing pocket aces for top set and Dehkharghani playing deuce-trey for the low.

Mercier plays eight-six for a straight to the ten, winning him the high half of the main pot. Dehkharghani once again receives the low and Lederer receives no piece of the main pot.

Ray Dehkharghani is the automatic bring in with the  . Rep Porter completes with the  , Jason Mercier (pictured) raises all in for 44,000 with the  , and both Dehkharghani and Porter call.

Porter checks his lead on fifth street, Dehkharghani bets, and Porter folds. With Mercier's tournament life on the line, he and Dehkharghani table their hands. "Please have only one down-card," Mercier pleads.

Dehkharghani shows    for rolled up deuces, and that's pretty bad news for Mercier. "Straight draw," he says, showing    for three to Broadway.

Mercier adds a third club on fifth street. "Flush draw," he says, starting to squirm in his chair a bit.

Sixth street gives Mercier two pair. "Boat draw! What's up now?"

The at-risk Mercier is first to squeeze his river card. "Oh my god," he says. He squeezes one more time to be sure, then rolls over the   to show jacks full of aces.

Dehkharghani still has one out to the winning quads, and he gives Mercier a good sweat. "Nothing across!" he bluffs before showing the  . Mercier's full house earns him the pot and the triple-up.

Bonomo bets and Mercier calls. Bonomo bets the river as well and Mercier squeezes his river card before spending several minutes in the tank. After some time, Mercier calls.

"Flush," says Bonomo tabling     in the hole.

Mercier slams the table in frustration and mucks his hand. Bonomo drags the pot and is the first player over the 3,000,000 chip mark, while Mercier is left with just over one big bet.

Before the first draw, Todd Brunson is in middle position and gets in the cap against Eric Wasserson in the hijack.

"I looked at four good cards and put in the chips," says Brunson as he begins to check his cards again. "Oh boy."

Brunson stands pat and Wasserson takes one. Brunson bets and Wasserson calls. On the second draw, Brunson stands pat and Wasserson takes one. Brunson moves all in for 41,000 and Wasserson calls.

On the last draw, Brunson stands pat and Wasserson takes one. Brunson shows       and is up against Wasserson's     .

"Fuck, I broke an eight," says Wasserson when the cards are tabled and he starts to sweat his last card. "It's a three spotter heart."

He tables the   and Wasserson makes a better 8-7 low to eliminate Brunson. The two players exchange a fist bump as Brunson is eliminated and the field inches closer to the money.

With the elimination of John Monnette, the field is reduced to 18 players, and they've just redrawn for new seats around the final three tables.

There's a bit of a holdup right now, though. The brothers Mizrachi, Michael and Robert, have drawn the same table, and there is some question about whether or not they should be reseated. Tournament Director Jack Effel has been summoned, and the field is awaiting his decision.

For now, though, here's how the final three tables are laid out:

John Monnette is the bring-in with a five and Mike Gorodinsky completes with a five. Lamar Wilkinson calls with an ace and Monnette defends his bring-in.

On fourth, Monnette catches a jack, Gorodinsky gets an eight and Wilkinson hits a ten. Gorodinsky bets, Wilkinson folds and Monnette calls. On fifth, Monnette catches a four and Gorodinsky hits a deuce. Gorodinsky bets and Monnette calls, all in for 44,000.

Gorodinsky shows    in the hole, which gives him a pair of deuces and a draw to an 8-5 low, while Monnette shows    in the hole, giving him a made jack-low and a draw to a 9-6 low.

On sixth, Monnette catches a king and Gorodinsky hits a three. Gorodinsky makes an 8-5 low and leaves Monnette drawing dead. Monnette picks up all of his cards and begins to muck them. Gorodinsky shows an irrelevant jack on the river and Monnette tosses his cards into the muck.

The defending champion wins the pot and Monnette is eliminated in 19th place. There is a brief pause in the action, while the final 18 players re-draw for seats at the final three tables.

Brunson bets his lead on fourth, fifth, and sixth streets, with Sotiropoulos calling each street. Brunson bets again on seventh street, and Sotiropoulos raises, leaving about 100,000 behind. Brunson calls the extra be to see a showdown.

Sotiropoulos reveals     for three fours.

"What the fuck?" Brunson is calm but clearly frustrated. "Are you kidding me? Are you freaking kidding me?"

Sotiropoulos waits for Brunson to muck, then opens his arms as the dealer pushes him the big pile of chips.

Brunson is now the shortest stack left in the field with 19 players remaining.
