Having shot to fame thanks to the brilliant BLACKPINK, one of the most listened-to groups in the world since 2016, she is the perfect cover star. She is daring, vibrant and delicate, yet never fragile.

In our fashion special, JISOO dares, taking risks fearlessly. Now, it is our turn to flirt with the concept, as we pay tribute to Vivienne Westwood, who passed away on December 29, 2022. The Queen of Punk loved radicalism. She was a leading designer when it came to making style synonymous with freedom, and always one step ahead of her time. "If you wear clothes that don't suit you, you're a fashion victim. You have to wear clothes that make you look better," she once said. These guidelines are the leitmotif of this issue, and we similarly follow the principles of Condé Nast, the founder of Vogue. The photographic archives of what went on to a legendary press group will soon be unveiled in an exceptional exhibition by the Pinault Collection at Palazzo Grassi in Venice. "Chronorama" recounts its saga. From Vogue to Vanity Fair, and from House & Garden to Glamour, the entire 20th Century is charted through the lens of the press photograph, which has become a work of art, including such prestigious figures as Irving Penn and Helmut Newton, who began their careers in our international pages. Condé Nast's principles include innovation, enthusiasm, wisdom, visionary spirit and, above all, the spirit of fashion. Fashion is about dressing one's desires, and one's ideas. While the garment remains central to our inspiration, is the way, or rather the many ways, of staging it that is honored in this edition, as has always been the case.
