“If Vogue France could be the source of a wonderful story, I would like to think that this new Vogue had managed to bring a universal sense to the term “inclusivity”. To include, in the purest sense, notions of welcoming, benevolence, meetings and generosity. This is one of the magazine’s missions. Take a look at Charles de Vilmorin, the young, 24-year-old fashion designer, who we have been following ever since his promising debuts, and who we congratulated when he arrived at the helm of Rochas. In September, when he was among the finalists for the LVMH Prize, we saw him full of emotion. However, he was not nervous about presenting his work to a five-star jury, which included Maria Grazia Chiuri, Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney and Virgil Abloh, or about the judgement of these fabulous mentors. Instead, he was anxious about meeting Isabelle Huppert - his ultimate icon, his muse, his feminine ideal, and one of the biggest actresses of his time - in real life. Today, she is the heroine of this December Vogue issue, our masterful and majestic guest, who lent her talents to the vision of the great Paolo Roversi. They both have the same sense of image, of reflection and of the nobility of fashion. For them, fashion goes further than just fashion. As for us, we wanted to give this opportunity to a young talent. Dressing Isabelle Huppert in Charles de Vilmorin for our cover meant finally bringing the two together, because I was touched by Charles's emotion. It meant pursuing the magic of fashion and, simply put, aligning their talents. Is this a Christmas tale? Isabelle Huppert is the perfect actress, embracing the outfits just as she would a role. Isabelle Huppert gifted this first part, on our cover, to Charles de Vilmorin and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Happy holidays to all!" writes Eugénie Trochu, Head of Content of Vogue France in the editorial of the December 2021 issue of Vogue France. This holiday issue honors the actress and cover star, Isabelle Huppert who shares the most personal facettes of her being including her favorite hotspots, her must-have objects, an intimate interview and her daily ritual. This issue, which delivers an on-point selection of what is currently shaping the fashion world, gives a voice to Ludovic de Saint Sernin, who has a true talent for genderless designs. It also offers a platform to the chef Mory Sacko who has dreamed up an original recipe for Christmas, as well as to Lauren Bastide who has rounded-up up the best committed graphic novels to give as gifts. While Isabelle Huppert  morphed into a couture model for this fashion series, Miss Belgique shares the world of the Belgian, Louise Robert. As always, there is also a selection of the best French hotspots, culture news and beauty and jewelry trends of the moment. On newsstands and online from December 4.
