This canyoneering experience takes you into this wilderness where you’ll uncover some of its most beautiful areas. You'll feel like you've escaped reality for an adventure on an alien planet!
Follow your expert guide into the serene landscape of Robbers Roost Desert. Take in the stunning vistas, the cacti forests, desert flowers, and a diverse range of wildlife as you trek along. This wilderness area was made famous by the Hollywood classic Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Then, you’ll descend into Bluejohn canyon, a slot canyon full of twists, turns, and spectacular color variations on the stone walls. You'll walk in the footsteps of a very different Hollywood movie as you navigate the canyon, 127 Hours the autobiographical film about Aron Ralston, a man who was trapped for several days in the canyon.
This 10-12 hour canyoneering experience is led by an expert guide who will provide safety instructions as well as the fundamentals of rappelling and canyoneering before you head off into your adventure. They are also on site to answer any questions or address any concerns that may come up. All necessary gear is provided, including snacks, so all you need to bring is your adventurous spirit!
