Emma Watson’s hair has gone through many evolutions — there was the frizzy pouf of Hermione Granger (a style that Emma admits still makes her cringe), the pixie of the past, and many different lengths in between. Although her hair length has varied, her natural beauty has remained constant.
And even though we haven’t seen her make any bold statements over the past few months, save for a dark-haired photo shoot and bright lipstick moments here and there, the time has come for a daring new ‘do.
Emma stepped out in London today wearing all-black-everything, topped off with a camel-colored coat. Her outfit is as chic as ever, but her hair is what’s making us do a double take. She hasn’t hit up many red carpets recently, but her strands appear much shorter than we’ve seen in awhile.
The casually fipped-to-the-side, tousled new style just grazes her chin, and looks about as sophisticated-yet-cool as we could imagine. Winter is usually the time to grow out your hair and bundle up in all ways possible, but Emma just convinced us that a bold chop is timelessly gorgeous. Here’s to being a beauty wizard.
