      Birthday: Feb 10, 1981

Birthplace: Brighton, East Sussex, England, UK

After briefly working as a print underwear model, Holly Willoughby decided to try her hand at television hosting. She persuaded a friend to make a reel of her hosting abilities, and Willoughby landed an agent who soon put her in contact with executives at the BBC. In 2000 Willoughby received her first big break, after presenting a few episodes of the fact-based children's show, "Xchange." After the success of "Xchange," the hosting offers began to pour in, and throughout the next four years Willoughby hosted several other children's shows, including "CBBC at the Fame Academy "and "X-perimental." Willoughby's breakthrough came in 2004, when she was asked to host the Saturday morning children's program, "Ministry of Mayhem." While working on that show Willoughby met her future husband, Dan Baldwin, who would later become her co-presenter on the show. By 2005 Willoughby started hosting shows that were targeted to a more family-oriented audience, rather than just children. Her first venture into this new TV landscape was the sports-themed talent show, "Dancing on Ice." She followed the success of that show by hosting "The Xtra Factor," "Celebrity Big Brother," and "Celebrity Juice." Since 2006 Willoughby has also hosted the daytime British television program, "This Morning."
