An original face is making a return to Chicago Fire!
Jesse Spencer will be back on the long-standing hit NBC show at the end of its eleventh season to fill on for fellow original star Taylor Kinney. Taylor is on a leave of absence from the series.
Jesse, who played Matt Casey for the first 10 seasons, departed the show at the beginning of season 10 so that he could focus more on his family. On the show, his character Matt went to Oregon, committing to a three-year stint at a new job.
The 44-year-old actor will make his return in episode 18 of the current season.
Back in January, Taylor announced that he was taking a leave of absence from the series.
