Billionaire Ron Perelman and ex-wife No. 4 Ellen Barkin have quietly settled their long-running legal battle, court records show.
The Revlon cosmetics king and the “Ocean’s 13” actress have settled several suits related to a film production company Barkin and her brother founded shortly before the couple’s six-year marriage ended in 2006.
Perelman, who had agreed to provide $3.4 million in start-up funding for Applehead Pictures, had sued Barkin and her brother George, accusing them of using the company as a personal piggy bank.
The Barkins then filed a countersuit, saying Perelman walked away from his pledge to partially bankroll the company.
A state appeals court last month upheld a Manhattan judge’s order that Perelman fork over $4.3 million, with interest, to Barkin’s company.
The nasty divorce reportedly netted the sultry “Sea of Love” actress $60 million, and she also made millions more by putting pricey gifts given to her by the billionaire on the auction block.
A Perelman spokeswoman declined comment.
The terms of the settlement are confidential.
