Sir Bruce Forsyth's heartbroken widow Wilnelia has moved into a new £5million home nearly three years after his death.

The TV great died of bronchial pneumonia in the summer of 2017, just months short of his 90th birthday.

Wilnelia inherited almost his entire £11.5 million fortune - and found it difficult to be in their home following his tragic passing.

According to the Daily Mail, Lady Forsyth sold the couple’s beloved marital home shortly before the coronavirus lockdown began back in March.

The former Miss World struck it lucky, selling the Surrey home for £1.5m more than it was officially valued at less than two years ago.

Now the 62-year-old has moved in to a new home, a smaller house close to their former Wentworth mansion.

She said: "It was hard to leave a place with so many happy memories for me and my family, but I think they all understand.’

"It was sometimes sad to be in such a home without Bruce."

The entertainer left £100,000 in a trust for his nine grandchildren though they can't touch the cash until they turn 21.

But his children didn't see any of it.

Sir Bruce didn't leave a penny of his fortune to his six kids - after once insisting that children should always inherit their parents' money so the taxman couldn't get his hands on it.

Bruce's children - Debbie, Julie and Laura from his first marriage to Penny Calvert; Charlotte and Louisa from his second marriage to Anthea Redfern, and son Jonathan Joseph from his marriage to Wilnelia - got nothing from their dad's estate.

They will only get some money if Wilnelia leaves them something in her own will.

"I think your inheritance should go to your children more than back to the country that you've lived in," he said in 2015.

"I'm not saying you don't owe the country something, of course you owe your country a lot for living there all those years. But I think it can be a bit over the top."\

A further two payments of £20,000 apiece are going to two of Brucie's executors, paper reveals.

The telly great died "peacefully at home" at the age of 89.

He was surrounded by his wife and all his children.
