Rolyan Resilient Coated Thermoplastic Splinting Material

  • Features balance of conformability and resistance to stretch
  • Highest resistance to stretch in the Aquaplast family
  • Water-based, non-stick coating, prevents accidental bonding
  • 100% memory allows material to be reshaped and reheated
  • Non-toxic, latex-free, and radiolucent

Key Material Benefits

Resilient is part of the Aquaplast family, the only Rolyan splinting family that turns transparent when heated and has 100 percent memory. It provides additional resistance to stretch as compared to the rest of the Aquaplast family, giving the clinician maximum control with additional splint strength.

Handling

Resistance to stretch: Maximum

Material does not stretch or deform when removed from splint bath, nor does it stretch unless it is pushed or pulled in a direction and then held until cool.

Conformability: Moderate

Conforms to surface contours and detail when some force is applied. Low degree of drape.

Memory: 100 percent

When reheated, the material “remembers” its original shape and returns to it. Allows for repeated reheating and reshaping for splint revisions.

Bonding: Coated

Available coated (Resilient-T)

Physical

Color: White
