Over 30 years ago, the film 'Road House' was released, with this action film directed by Rowdy Herrington and starring an icon of the time in Patrick Swayze.

Now, the remake of this story is about to be released by Amazon Prime Video, with Jake Gyllenhaal taking a starring role

Gyllenhaal has taken the role very seriously as he has changed his physical appearance for filming.

In this new version of 'Road House', there is a scene shot at an actual UFC 285 weigh-in, where Gyllenhaal climbs on stage, takes off his shirt and poses identical to the other fighters.

For this, though, the actor had to undergo hard physical training and take care of his diet, as if he were a professional fighter.

The new feature film will arrive in late 2023 on Amazon Prime Video, where it will be released exclusively.

The plot is not yet clear, but it will be faithful to the original, where a retired UFC fighter takes a job as a bouncer at a roadhouse and things happen to him that will change his life.

It's not the first time the actor has played a fighter, having already portrayed a boxer in the 2015 film 'Redemption'.

Gyllenhaal has enjoyed a long career as a performer, and at 42 years old he has been collecting awards for his work and has Golden Globes, BAFTA awards and an Oscar.

In his career we can see performances of all kinds in action films, comedies, dramas and science fiction.
