Britney Spears and Elton John had a great collaboration performing a rendition of Tiny Dancer back in 2022 to celebrate her return to music after her conservatorship. This ignited a theory that she would make a surprise attendance at Glastonbury, however, fans were very disappointed.
Elton John took the stage on the second weekend of the festival and many people were expecting the 2022 version of the Tiny Dancer song labeled 'Hold Me Closer'.
The Rocketman's show continued and eventually, he pulled out Brandon Flowers to help him sing the song, ending all opportunities for fans to see their beloved Britney Spears.

As soon as it was confirmed that she was not showing, people went to Twitter to share with others their sadness and even outrage.
The speculation began when some people started sharing stories and pictures of Britney in London, saying that she was in the city, however, they were old pictures.
Another video surfaced on Twitter where a presenter hyped up Elton John's performance and mentioned that he supported up-and-coming talent, then mentioned his participation and fondness for the talented singer, and that continued speculation.
Meanwhile, Britney was having a great time in Mexico, as she posted her random stuff on Instagram singing and dancing while captioning her post in Spanish 'Different version of yesterday'.
It was never announced that the 'Toxic' singer would be at the festival or she'd be interested in participating in a live performance as she has not done any public appearances on a stage for quite some time.
