Reese Witherspoon was seen happy at her first outing alongside ex-husband Ryan Phillippe

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe showed up to support their son Deacon Phillippe's album release party. As proud parents, they uploaded some pictures on social media to share their son's music and let everyone know about the band.

Ryan Phillippe posted some images on Instagram

"Awesome night w family & friends celebrating the release of, 'A New Earth' by @deaconphillippe," the proud dad wrote.

"Stream, download, and listen to the album."

The photo reel had pictures of the event, including a smiling Reese Witherspoon who was looking great in a red plaid jacket and a pair of blue jeans.

Deacon also has a pic with his mom and his sister Ava Phillipe

Witherspoon also made a post about her experience with her son's album and also asked everyone to listen.

"Let's goooo @deaconphillippe," she captioned the album picture "New Pop Picks," while "Virus," was playing in the background of her Instagram Story.

According to Page six, this is her first outing since she started her divorce process from her ex-husband Jim after a 12-year-old marriage.

"We have some personal news to share. It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce," Witherspoon let everyone know the news of her divorce from Jim on her Instagram page

"We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together," she elaborated

She mentioned that her daughter Tennessee was their "biggest priority."

"These matters are never easy and are extremely personal," she ended the statement. "We truly appreciate everyone's respect for our family's privacy at this time."

Witherspoon and Ryan were married from 1999 to 2008 and have two kids whom they have been co-parenting ever since.
