Finishing the last day of holidays with book #1 in 2024. And what a great reading that was. If you’ve never read any of Bob Emiliani books and you’re a lean practitioner, start with this one. I particularly highlight: - the importance of purpose described - lean as a “people SYSTEM” - the need of new performance metrics in a lean environment - discipline I’ve been studying a lot about discipline and I’ll share some insights soon. #reading #lean #leanmanagement #leanbooks #leantransformation

What are you currently reading? This is an intriguing book that explores the idea of Kaizen, which is a Japanese philosophy that emphasizes continuous improvement through tiny, gradual improvements and means "change for the better." Anyone seeking to improve their life whether personal or professional should definitely consider this book. With Sarah Harvey's helpful guidance, the kaizen philosophy is an effective instrument for continual improvement. Happy Monday #change #kaizen #improvement #smallchangesbigimpact

Currently reading "The 1% Rule" by Tommy Baker. This book is a game-changer for myself. One of the key concepts discussed in the book is the Japanese word Kaizen, which means continuous improvement. By focusing on making small, incremental changes every day, you can achieve great things over time. #The1PercentRule #Kaizen #PersonalGrowth #ContinuousImprovement

🚀📚 There's an incredible power in books that often goes underestimated. They're not just a source of information; they're a gateway to growth and a direct path to the minds of some of the greatest thinkers and achievers. Here's the thing: You're engaging with the thoughts, wisdom, and insights of the author. 🧠 But it doesn't stop there. Books can lead you to the minds of people you admire. When you read books that have inspired those you look up to, you're essentially tapping into their knowledge and experience! 📖 Here are my top 4 recommendations from last year, which have been transformational: "Scrum: The Art of Doing Twice the Work in Half the Time" 🔄⏰ "The Chimp Paradox" 🐒🧠 "Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion" 💡🤝 "How to Win Friends and Influence People" 🤝📈 PD: Special shout out to Jose Antonio Moreno Perez, Laila Iftikhar, Begoña Sesé de Lucio & Juan Manuel Becerro Voces for recommending! What other books would you add to this list? Let's keep the knowledge-sharing going! 📚💬
