A few years ago, the son of a famous ruler of the land, who was hunting, met the daughter of a shepherd with whom he fell in love. The different social status, however, stood in the way of the love between the two, which is why the ruler ordered the killing of the young woman. From so much bitterness after the loss of love, the boy shed tears until he formed the lake that today bears his name.
The place full of so much nostalgia is in the "Anina Mountains" and it seems that it never freezes, like the love that the boy had for the girl.
