Oh, and did we mention she's just confirmed the title of her new album? The Geordie beauty's fourth solo album is titled Only Human - and she was kind enough to explain the name's origin to Graham.

Looking typically gorge in a swanky updo and flattering monochrome outfit, the X Factor judge said:

"I was exhausted, I'd had a solo tour and then toured with Girls Aloud so I took a year off to be with my family." "It was the first time off I'd had in 10 years - it was a normal time."

But what about all the partying she did during her year off?

"I did party a lot. I needed to let loose and it was the best thing I could do. The title sums up that time."

If Crazy Stupid Love is anything to go by, we're dying to hear the whole album - and it's not long to wait, with the album out this November.

Cheryl also told us about how it feels being back on the X Factor, calling her relationship with fellow judge Louis Walsh "a little bit frosty!.

Referring to the infamous controversy regarding her departure from the US X Factor, Cheryl revealed that Simon had to work hard to get her back on the UK show: "There was a lot of grovelling to get me back once Simon was on board!" she said.

But is she loving being back?

"It feels like I've never been away," she told Graham.

Cheryl is joined tonight on The Graham Norton Show by Don Johnson, John Bishop, Brendan O'Carroll and Chrissie Hynde. Don't miss it - BBC One at 10.30pm.
