Rouzbeh Rashidi Instagram – We extend our sincere gratitude to all those who attended the Experimental Film Society screenings as part of the Cinematic Synesthesia of the Tehran Contemporary Sounds at Kino Central. One screening was completely sold out, and the other had a nearly full house. The audience’s passion and active participation during the question-and-answer sessions added energy and excitement to the screenings. We would like to express our thanks to the talented filmmakers and artists who entrusted us with their magnificent works: Yasaman Pishvaei, Nazgol Kashani, Johnny Clyde, Wasim Ghrioui, Anahita Safarnejad, and Atoosa Pour Hosseini. It has been an exceptional series of events. I, personally, would also like to express my eternal gratitude to Janna Heiss and Behrooz Moosavi, the founders and curators of Tehran Contemporary Sounds. Collaborating with them over the past few weeks has been a pleasure and an honour. Working with them stood out because they were willing to experiment and take risks in uncharted territories. Collaborations like these make all the effort worthwhile. We would also like to thank the backers and supporters of our project “Goethe-Institut im Exil” and “Kino Central” for their generous support.
