I wasn't too sure about this DVD at first b/c I wasn't really breaking a sweat, but by the time the workout as almost over, I felt the fatigue in my problem areas. You'll feel like you just came from a yoga class instead of the usual, sweaty, out of breath workout TAE BO usually gives... I suggest buying this DVD to get started after child bearing, and to build your confidence up, paired with a more traditional, heavy duty TAE BO workout for those days you wanna push yourself.
This is a very good workout that eases you back into being active after giving birth. Simple moves to follow, positive encouragement from the instructor. I like that it is also broken down into 5 different 10 minute segments, so I can pick and choose what I want to work on, great when you don't have lot of time to devote!
I really enjoy this workout. There is not any up and down on the floor. You work your abs from a standing position. Shellie is very energetic and empathetic. The only dislike I have is that the areas of workout run together. The DVD is set up so that you can do specific workouts on a tight Mommy schedule. They did not do a good job at marking the end of each section so you often end up doing alot more than you planned.
This is the best workout video and style of workout for shedding those post baby pounds and quickly if your dedicated to doing the workout. Its easy if your used to Tae Bo anyway. With my two other kids I tried every workout but this one really targets the areas that pregnancy gets to.
So far so good, I haven't had it that long. What I like about it, is that she has it broken into segments, so if you are pressed for time like I am, you can pick and choose which segments that you would like to do. She is very upbeat and keeps you going easing you into it, which is nice. You are definitely getting a nice workout.
