Denise van Outen is marking her 47th birthday today and Daily Star is celebrating the blonde bombshell's special day with some eye-popping throwbacks.
Fans may not know this, but Denise was actually born without the "van" between her birth name and surname.
Claiming her light-haired roots are from her Dutch heritage, she decided to tamper with her name in a bid to showcase her ancestry.
The former Channel 4 Big Breakfast star has also helped to put Essex on the map - Denise was born and raised in Basildon and also narrates The Only Way Is Essex reality series.
On top of that, she was voted 'rear of the year' in 1999 and topped the list of the most desired "bikini bodies" in a 2007 poll in Grazia magazine.

As Proud Cabaret prepared to reopen its doors earlier this month, Denise, one of the show's stars, teased fans in this saucy red ensemble by Love Honey.

“I was quite selective anyway. I never did anything topless, there was more of a fashion approach to it.”
