Cutting a solo figure, Miley looked to be enjoying the slower pace of life as she walked down the street.

Looking absolutely sensational in the monochrome look, the Wrecking Ball hitmaker completed the midi-length number with a pair of funky lace-up flat shoes.

Miley scraped her blonde tresses into a casual high ponytail and shielded herself from the rays with a pair of heart-shaped glasses.

Her sighting comes after music icon Elton John discussed his love for Miley, calling her 'the sexiest lady in the whole wide world'.

Talking animatedly about the beauty, Elton revealed on Beats 1 with Apple Music: 'She's 25 years of age, and boy is she sexy, and boy is she talented, and boy do I love her.'

Lady Gaga is another musician that Elton clearly admires, as he called the godmother of his children one of his 'dearest friends', and said: 'She's one of the loyalist, most wonderful people and most talented people I've ever met.

'She's also out there and I love people who are out there. She doesn't give a flying f**k...she's very much her own person and I love that.'

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran's cover of Candle In The Wind was particularly awe-inspiring for the singer as he said: 'I didn't think anyone would tackle it, but Ed Sheeran had the b***s to do it.

'And he's done a version which sounds to me like Crosby, Stills & Nash from the late 1960s/early 1970s produced by Peter Asher and it's absolutely beautiful.'

The album sees Miley, and an array of A-list musicians give their own interpretation of Elton's incredible discography, with highlights including Florence + The Machine's take on Tiny Dancer, and Miley's rendition of his song The B***h Is Back.

His collaboration with other artists comes at a great time, as Elton recently spoke to BBC Radio 5 about upcoming talent, where he admitted: 'That's really what excites me, the new.

'When you hear something new that blows me away, like when I first heard the first Lorde album you think – my god that's amazing, she's sixteen how the hell did she do that?!'

'The real artists .. are doing it the right way because they are going out and playing live and getting a huge following by playing live shows.

'And you don't really see them on social media very much… The people who write the real songs are going to have the biggest future.'
