Vredestein Quatrac are cca 100 EUR per tire.

This price includes also rims? If not, it would be cheaper to go to Austria... smile.gif

Level of my antifreeze is very close to MIN mark. I have checked and it is at -40 C. With what kind of antifeeze should I top it up. Because some people says that if you mix to diferent based antifreezes it will start to make foam. Please if you can answer what kind of antifreeze should I use, or which one you have used?

Here is what Dacia says about that:

------
We thank you for your message and for the trust you put in us by appealling to our services.

As regards the aspects you presented we inform you that for the cooling system of the Logan vehicle, Dacia recommends the use of " Glaceol RX type D ", according to the Warranty Book.

Since Dacia does not recommend a coolant made by Total ( France ), we are not aware of its properties.

We are kindly asking you to keep contact with our local representative for all information, as you could find in them the best partner for understanding your needs.
---------------

But, using GLACELF SUPRA coolant (made by Total, France) should be OK.

Hey, people.
Do not forget to clean your headlights and taillights every morning, because your lights are going to blind other drivers if they are dirty, because light is "blowing" in the air, just like in fog!!!

I was a bit afraid of how the Logan is going to take the side wind, being so high and not so streamlined. But it was a pleasant surprise, really, and quite the contrary to the Peugeot 307. With Peugeot, there was almost no noise in it but it would just turn its nose now and then, quite unexpectedly. With Logan, the noise is awful but the car is very steady.

By the way, the noise is not always bad. Whit temperature jumping up and below zero, there is always the danger of ice, and it happens that on ice, tires are making a different, somehow "drier" noise than on the wet asphalt. So it is a good warning.

And more. Logan is a warm car, and its engine starts well even at -22 C (the lowest temperature in Estonia this winter). I say that because I've heard much complaining here in Estonia about French engines "dying" in cold, just like the soldiers of Napoleon did in Russia.

About Barum Polaris 2 tires (no spikes). I can say they are not at all bad - on everything except the solid ice. On the solid ice, I do not not know, for we did not have it this winter.

But again, I'm a 50/70/90 type of a driver (e.g. keeping the speed limit), so a guy who loves to drive with his foot flat may be of different oppinion.
