Mégane Estate Fairway: for a life of leisure

Renault is expanding its Mégane range with the new Mégane Estate Fairway, based on the Dynamique equipment level. Standard features of Mégane Estate Fairway include an electric sunroof, rear parking sensor, and an opening tailgate window. It differs from other versions in the extensive use of interior and exterior fittings in satin chrome finish, body-colour paintwork throughout, dark-tinted tailgate and rear side windows, and 16” wheels. It is available with most of the engines offered across the Mégane Estate range. This versatile, spacious estate car makes an ideal choice of outdoor leisure vehicle.
Mégane Estate Fairway will be priced from €21,600 to €26,500 depending on the engine option. It will be released on the French market in early September, but orders can be placed through the dealer network from 15 June.

Summer’s here, and to celebrate Renault is releasing Mégane Estate Fairway, a new equipment-packed version with refined design highlights. Mégane Estate Fairway is based on the Dynamique equipment level and comes with the same choice of engines and gearboxes (except for the entry-level 1.4 l petrol and 85 hp 1.5 dCi diesel engines) as other models in the Mégane Estate range. Distinguishing exterior features include satin-chrome highlights (on the upper radiator grilles, lower grille strip, roof rails, foglamp surrounds and tailgate trim), dark-tinted tailgate and rear side windows, special 16’’ aluminium wheels, and body-colour paintwork throughout.

As well as good looks, Mégane Estate Fairway also features a wealth of standard equipment including rear parking sensor, opening tailgate window and electric sunroof.

Interior keynotes are on comfort and refinement, starting with a dark carbon colour scheme matched to the predominantly blue upholstery. The satin-chrome theme continues, with trims on the central fascia, glove box trim, parking brake branches and aluminium pushbutton. The pedal unit and footrest are in aluminium, and there are aircraft-style foldaway children’s’ tables in the backs of the front seats.

Mégane Estate Fairway comes with a broad choice of engines including the 105 hp 1.5 dCi and 150 hp 2.0 dCi, which give benchmark performance on CO2 emissions and fuel economy (4.6 l and 5.5 l per 100 km respectively, on a mixed cycle):

Petrol engines:
- 110 hp 1.6 16V, with five-speed manual gearbox or four-speed automatic transmission
- 105 hp 1.6 16V ethanol, running on E85 biofuel or petrol
- 135 hp 2.0 16V with six-speed manual gearbox or four-speed automatic transmission
Diesel engines:
- 105 hp 1.5 dCi (with or without particulate filter) with six-speed manual gearbox
- 130 hp 1.9 dCi (with or without particulate filter) with six-speed manual gearbox
- 130 hp 1.9 dCi (with particulate filter) with four-speed automatic transmission
- 150 hp 2.0 dCi with six-speed manual gearbox

Mégane Estate Fairway is priced from €21,600 to €26,500, depending on the engine option, which is just €700 more than the Dynamique version, giving a customer advantage of 2.7%.

It will be released on the French market in September 2007, but orders can be placed through the dealer network from 15 June.

Am observat ca Megane in Franta e mai scump decat in Romania.

Fairway = 21600 euro ...
