That's why Logan has only 3 stars on EURO NCAP test

Can you say more why?
I only can see that the car performs the controlled deformation in parameters.
Try to find other crash test for other cars and you will understand why this is good and not bad.

I still not understand what you see in the movie that make you say: that’s way …

The crash test is NOT bad the CAR FOLDS UP AND THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT SEEMS TO HOLD OUT WELL (Sorry caps)
If you are traveling though at 170km like one guy just said ...well a mercedes wont be of use to him either

Did you saw crashtest_dolls on the rear seats.
And please, I didn't say anything wrong!!!

the rear seats dolls are children:

"The recommended restraints were a Britax Romer Duo Plus fitted forward facing and a BabySafe Plus fitted rear facing. Both installed using the adult belts. They provided mixed protection. Both children were well protected in the side impact but in the frontal test, the dummies’ instrumentation recorded high neck loads on the younger child and high chest loads on the 3 year old."

Try to compare the results with a car from sa same category.

@mcv_rulez I asked you those questions in order to understand your afirmation better.

From my opinion the Logan offer the protection you payd for. But think that even in the most expensive car if you hit the wall at 120 Km/h you are dead.

But there is a chach if you hit with 2.5t car a 1t one maby you will hava a chance tu survive, but you will kill the other for shure and if you are guilty you will be alive in the prison.

Hi MCV, thanks for attaching the video, I hadnt seen it and I'm impressed with the performance of the car. In my opinion its quite a good result.

And I (almost) agree with you: Logan is (almost) the most beautiful car

The Logan didn't get more stars because of the lack of active security measures like pretensioned seat belts, side airbags, beeping when you forget to put the seat belt and so on.
It is important to know that the stars are not given to some car based only on the crash itself so it's a rather not so scientifical score.

The Logan chassis was modernly designed and from what I read before it was launched back in 2004 it was the first Renault model that was designed solely on the computer so there were no scale models. Also the achoustics were modeled by the numbers on computers. However, what you get could be a much more reduced (design to cost) version. Some plastic parts are missing from the main console (the one that fits down, mine is missing), some sound-proof materials also missing (above the driver's legs should be a piece of sound absorbing material closing the gap in the dashboard) and so on...

In Romania Dacia has a realy bad reputation and since Logan was marketed under the Dacia brand (more than the Renault one; Renault Logan is present only in Russia and Iran I think and it's the same car built with the same materials; only the face is different; check www.renault.ru for pictures) it received tons of criticism and mostly because of public image inertia.

Dacia realy changed since Renault bought it.

Well, it doesn't say anything about the crash-test but the general impression from ADAC is positive

And when the ADAC give you a positive against a East European car then that is POSITIVE
as for crash tests .........................If the Logan did a crash test in Germany in 2000 then it would have been a super brill car ..the problem now is that it does not have ESP and side airbags Awwww come on guys this is why we buy this type of car .We want to go from A toZ not wizz from A to Z
I would say that us Logan drivers are the type that go out in our cars to complete a journey and not to impress the local neighbourhood
Its a car it has 5 seats a boot bigger than a merc and for us the heart of a JAG
