Today we had our second Dacia Logan Meeting in The Netherlands. For those in Romenia asking themselves how popular the Dacia Logan is: here's the answer in images. A total of 52 (!!!) Dacia Logans showed up sponteaniously. It's a shame that in Galati it's impossible to make such a meeting.

Why is that difficult or impossible..? Basicly, the only thing I did was providing a place, time and date through my site www.dacialoganmcv.nl

And combined with a poll I could keep track on the visitors to expect (so I knew there would show up about 25-45 Dacia Logans, but it turned out to be 52).

you have a very good site (www.dacialoganmcv.nl) . i wish we would have a site like that in romania , to show what others had modified to their MCV's. it would be cool if you could make a english version of youre site.

Ger can you tell me what is the reason for buing an mcv. Do you allways travel with lots of bagages?

Thank you. But if it was written in English it wouldn't have had the same kind of impact in The Netherlands which is the basis for these kind of events. So, it is a matter of making choices, I'm afraid...

What I see is that the MCV is 'multi purpose'. The most comon reasons to buy the MCV: a lot of people in The Netherlands are camping with a tent, do have more than two children or have a dog...

Basicly, the 'break' versions of cars are overall more popular than the sedan, not only Dacia's. Besides that, the MCV is more appealing than the sedan through the eyes of West European costumers.

At this very moment the visitors of www.dacialoganmcv.nl are voting for a suitable date. Athough the voting is still open and won't clse before February 29, it looks the date for the next meeting will be the 25th of May. Please check the actual status of the voting at: http://www.dacialoganmcv.nl/ (right side column).

This third edition of the Dutch Dacia Meeting seems to grow into something quite huge: we expect to have over 100 Dacia's to attend also depending on the actual weather on the day itself, of course.

We have a special permission to use the area. It's one of the most beautifull parts of Holland (Utrechtese Heuvelrug) and those surroundings are also an important part of the overall atmosphere of the meetings. Dacia drivers are proper people; we don't spoil the grass...

The 25th of May 2008, from 11:00 AM to 17:00 PM

Depending on weather conditions, we expect 100+ Dacia's to attend. The exact program has to be set from this point on. I can't promise anything, but one unique aspect is in the works. I really hope this particular 'thing' can be realized because it would be so great if we succeed in getting it on the program...

Well, I can't reveal it and maybe I'm even not allowed to reveal it before the actual event, even if it's on the program... Just wait and see. And be sure to be there if you can...

I suppose Ger personally will soon appear here but 550 Dacias indeed, the importer was also involved in the organization: the Sandero was showed for the first time, free food and drinks, music etc. so really a great event!

Hi all, just a short reaction because it's quite busy at this moment as you'll understand.

This was the third Dutch Dacia Meeting and there where indeed 550 Dacia's and over 2,000 Daciastics present. In fact, it was the largest Dacia-event ever and I am proud to be responsible for it.

At the second Dutch Dacia Meeting we counted 52. That's probably the mixup.

When I was in Romania -last november, to visit Dacia- I had the feeling Romania itself was one large Dacia Meeting..!

Every three seconds I could count a Dacia. Although Dacia is the fastest growing brand in the Dutch market (actually already above Alfa Romeo..!) there are days I don't see any besides my own on the Dutch roads.

But that is changing rapidly...
