If it is not to late I have some experience with LPG in logan ambient pack 1.4mpi.
I bought logan in 4.2005. and week later. put gas in it Till now I had 12500km with it... and for me that is the best thing in my car... I actually don't think a second abut how much trip is going to cost, just drive ... where ever. BRC equipment and stako doughnut (toroid) tank(V=53l/gas=42l), instead of spare tire. I did not lose my warranty, because Renault have deal with BRC (not Dacia) average consumption 450km/40l ...cc8.8l ... I don't know about petrol, maybe <2 tanks at 10000km. (full tank of gas about 20e in Serbia) extreme No1, all out of city, summer, around 90-110km/h i 5 gear, 450km/34l extreme No2, all out of city, winter, around 120-140km/h i 5 gear, 400km/42l – run out after first 1000km it must go to service, because of BRC computer, it hes some kind of learning process (often switching from petrol to gas), to adapt to car engine ... in service they check vital parts and turn off that process(free), after that same as car, on every 10000km (first on 10k cost me 10e, they didn't change anything mechanical, just c hack with software and put some new drivers from Internet (not kidding, i had random changing from petrol to gas for duration of few seconds, with new program and 2k km it didn't happen again). I didn't react on my problem instant because service is 100km away from me, and over the phone they told me that is not a big problem (maybe learning process isn't turn off) and that I could wait for regular service. So I drove it like that 7000 km Problem was with software, it was to sensitive adjust or old version. One kind of protection, if computer signals kind of danger it turn off gas... also if I obtain 5000rpm (at cold day) it also switched to petrol.... Of course, now everything is ok, I test it I have a friend, with same car, he put gas few months after me(around 9k km on gas), and he did not have any problem at all. if it is of any help. best regard Nikola |

No it's in the trunk, acting as a holder for bottles, shampoo, spongue... waiting for me to find a suitable bag to put it into... it is ok for now because is new and clean, so I probably make decent dirty my trunk before I actually find one. I thought to remove it completely and bought some sort of 'purpen' in bottle underpressure from BRC, for one use, 8e. They claim it can pump flat tire and last for 1000km... I suppose that when you eventually bring it on repair, some one will hate you. for now I have both of them, in case of two flat tires at same time... |

but can you install only sequential kind of LPG system?
there are 2 types of LPG systems, first wich is half manual, you turn on engine on petrol, wait for 2-3 minutes and then move engine on 3500 rpm, then automaticly goes on gas... and second, sequential, fully automatic system first is much cheaper (my friend have it in a Opel VECTRA 1998 1,6 ) and works very good |

I didn't ask and got full automatic .
The main price is because plastic pipes in motor... I think that Vectra have some kind of metal pipes (easy to drill), so semi automatic LPG with new type of engine (with plastic pipes) difference in price is minor... or I'm wrong |

Anyway Logan has that "pipe" (usisna grana) frpm plastic, and then some system to prevent detonations in that intake tube hasn to be installed. |

You are right. It is not minor, only I didn't really took it in any consideration.
The cheapest system for plastic pipes I found one year ago was 900e... My was 1200e, with 2 year warranty... and it didn't void car warranty... 25~30% In my case, difference 7900+1200 or 7900+900 (without car warranty)...4~5% |
