Well, everything was cool, and then, after 500km of driving in one shot, i stoped engine, tryed to power on, and suddenly, dashboard goes black, no light, just alanser tryed to start engine and turned immidiatly off... time on a control table was reset

after that, i tryed it few times, without succes... and 5 minutes later, started engine normaly...

and one week later, same problem, but now, i could not even unlock the door, accumulator was on very low voltage, light bulbs were like on discharged accu.

i used cables to turn engine on, ofcourse immidiatly, alternator lamp (red block on control board) is not turning on (i suppose that it is charging acuu). after 10 km of drive it charged acuu a little bit, that i can lock doors.

in driving mode, when i tryed to turn on big elecric powered stuff like a rear glass defroster, lights and motor makes a drops of electricity.

i suppose that acuu is in bad condition.

what do you think?

First, check acid level in your battery. To do this, remove sticker on the top of accu, then remove litle plastic cover, and under it you will see cells. Acid level should be 1 cm above lead. If neccesary, add destilled water only. Then check, when engine running, voltage on accu (lead contacts of accu itself, not contacts from wires), it should be about 14 V (that means alternator is working properly). Next to check is voltage when starting cold engine, it should NOT be under 11-11,5 V. Also it is good to check current discharge when engine is off, small current for immobilizer and clock, eventualy alarm is tolerated up to 100mA. If anything is wrong, visit nearest repair shop to determine what is causing problems.

There can be 3 major causes for electrical problems: 1. accu in shortcut, can't accumulate electricity; 2. improper charging and 3. high discharge.

Rombat calciu is known as low quality accu, however, if still in waranty have it replaced, if not, Varta or Bosch is good alternative.

PS don't forget to check accu contacts for corrosion, it is the most common cause for electrical problems and i suppose this is your problem smile.gif

i know that calcium accumulators dont need to be filled with distiled water . according to the manufacturer they dont need filling with wateras conventional accumulators . also a calcium battery needs to be recharged oance at 6 months , unlike a conventional one which should be recharged every month.
here's the link to the manufacturers site: http://www.rombat.ro/index.php?lang=2

that is marketing trick. every accu that is not hermeticaly sealed needs water, more or less. only hermeticaly sealed accus are really maintenance free, because water can't evaporate.
Rombat Calciu in LGN is not sealed and needs regular checkih, and if neccesary adding water.

On Rombat site, at the link stated above, read carefully "handling instruction"!!! It says that accu needs regular electrolyte level chacking and adding water if neccesary!

well if u take care of u're battery, fill it with water when needed and recharging it every few months if should be good. i had the same battery for 7 years on my old car but it wasnt a calcium one , it was a conventional accu , Fulmen brand.
the life span of a calcium accu should be around 5 years , but it depends according to the manufacturer.

ACUU was a problem

when i tryed to check voltage , it was 10.3 V wich is above the absolute minimum for
Lead Acid acuu`s

ofcourse and with charging, acuu won`t charge at normal charge rates, it charges very slowly

i bougth VARTA 60VA , blue model.

it kicks like a dynamite ... price is 7000 dinars (around 80 euros)
