I don't think that the sound could be changed without changing the equipment too.

Why do you mean if it is in UCH we can change sound. If is piezo speaker probably we can change wit some other triggered device. If bepper is in UCH can anyone have schematic diagram of UCH so I can try to solve this problem?

I'm just curious. Why would you want to do that? Do you forget to turn your lights off ten times a day and the sound is so annoying that you want to change it?

Bravo, Boris! Instead of that, I'd rather consider changing really boring direction light indicator's sound.

I think that direction light indication IS exactly the beeper the man wants to change!!! biggrin.gif
But I don't find it annoying at all, I've got so used to it over time, that now I don't even notice it anymore.

I don't notice my beeper any more, but everyone else does. A few days ago a friend asked me why all (4) of my direction lights blink. I asked him what does he mean? He answered - on the dashboard both direction led's light up, and there's that annoying sound. I smiled and said - it's Dacia, I'm just turning left! smile.gif

And I think that direction light beeper and forgotten light beeper is the same one smile.gif

If car is under warranty, don't mess, UCH costs fortune, if not, I'm sure there are people that can fix that for a fee smile.gif

UCH 10 Euro?
Which one? There are about 30-40 control units on an average medium car, all comunicating on CAN. I don't know how many are in the LOGAN car, I could try to find out from a company datasheet.
The one controlling the engine (officially named ECU) costs more than 1000 euro if you need a new one.
