Perhaps the sparkling wine I associate most with mimosas (maybe because of the orange label?), Mionetto is just tried and true. You can find it practically everywhere, it doesn't hurt your wallet, and I've never met anyone who doesn't like sippin' on it. For all those reasons and more, you might as well stock up.

Good ol’ Veuve: you know it, you love it, and you wanna show it off on your bar cart. The brand’s yellow-label Brut Champagne is a classic for a reason, boasting nutty, bready (yes, experts say it tastes like a toasted brioche), and floral notes that are easy on the palette and go with damn near every dish. It’s also extra-dry with fine bubbles, making it the perfect match for a sweet glass of OJ. If you don’t mind blowing a little extra at the wine shop pre-brunch, this is the bottle to get.

You might know them for their deliciously rich Cabernet Sauvignon, but trust me—you shouldn’t sleep on Josh Cellars’s lighter options. Their prosecco, specifically, is absolute perfection in my eyes: not too sweet, not too dry, and the bottle looks much more expensive than its sticker price. With fruit-forward notes of green apple, pear, and citrus, a little bit of orange juice tastes right at home.

This tasty cava is worth flying to Spain for—but to your wallet’s delight, you don’t have to. You can find a bottle in most American wine stores, despite it hailing from the Rioja region of Spain, which is known for its miles of vineyards. It’s well-balanced and (maybe too easy) to sip, with the perfect level of acidity to cut through a sweet fruit juice for a ~magical mimosa moment~. Plus, look at that price tag!

Its golden color looks like sunshine in a glass, and it pretty much tastes how I expect sunshine to taste, complete with fine bubbles and notes of ripe fruit and fresh walnut. If you end up skipping the OJ and just taking this liquid gold to the face, I won’t blame you.

If you need a gift for someone that knows their bubby, a nice shiny bottle of GH Mumm’s Grand Cordon never fails. (And honestly, I don’t think there’s anyone who wouldn’t appreciate it.) Made with Pinot Noir grapes, the flavor is rich and bold. but each sip is as light and bubbly as you'd expect in a high-quality champagne. It’s pretty much the ultimate hostess gift when you’re heading to a friend’s place for a schmancy brunch.
