Leighton Meester gets to work on Gossip Girl Season 5

It seems like we just wrapped up Season 4, but the Gossip Girl crew is back in New York and starting to film Season 5.

Leighton Meester was photographed on set earlier today (July 7) filming with guest star Roxane Mesquida.

Both actresses looked incredibly stylish as usual.  Leighton was back in bold colors as Blair Waldorf and wore a yellow ruffled shirt with a fruit-print skirt and yellow pumps.  Roxane looked fabulous as well in a blue printed mini dress.

Roxane will be playing the character of Prince Louis' sister during the upcoming season and she will be making Blair's wedding planning a complete nightmare. 

It looks like they are quite chummy in these photos, but we know that looks are always deceiving on Gossip Girl.
