I'm loved the fixtures and different sections where you can worship. What a beautiful place to worship the lord. Awesome structure so sad it was burned. Glad I had the opportunity to experience it before it was destroyed.

We visit Notre Dame every visit.
We visit Notre Dame every visit. Last visit we were able to sit and enjoy a mass. Another time, we heard an organ recital. The peace and tranquility of the place can not be matched. We pray that it is rebuild soon!

I have mixed feelings about this historic Cathedral.
I have mixed feelings about this historic Cathedral. Sadness that the towers have been lost due to fire but it still stands proud and you can still see the beautiful windows and original structure of Notre Dame. I suppose it is a miracle that there was not more damage. I feel it is an integral monument in Paris to visit. I pray that Notre Dame will be around for all future generations to enjoy.

I was sad to see Notre-Dame after the fire.
I was sad to see Notre-Dame after the fire. I used to go to Notre Dame for mass and devotions. Not being able to do so was quite a letdown for me. Let's hope that I will be able to do so again in my lifetime!

All we can say about this is that we are so glad we saw it before it burned. The 13 year old was excited more after the fact knowing that he saw it before they had to rebuild again. Beautiful place.

At the moment it is not possible to get as close to this important icon of both Paris and Christianity but it is still-and perhaps even more do - a pilgrimage that must be undertaken if one finds one’s self in the city.

Very, very good location!!! Very, very close to Notre Dame. A lot of places to have something to eat and drink around the hotel.
Very nice and kind staff, very helpful with all advices you need. Elevator available.
Nice room, very clean. Confortable beds and pilows.
The apartment was very clean and modern. Très agréable! I would stay here again without question! Very very convenient. There are many cafes, restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Notre Dame, La Tour Eiffel, Place Vendôme, Place de la Concorde, L'Arc de Triomphe, Galleries Lafayette, Le Primtemps, everything is a short metro ride from this apartment (Paris is big) and there are many places within walking distance. It's very well located. Very quiet, very secure.
Excellent hotel in a great location, room 312 recommended!
Our room was not huge but it had a fabulous terrace which was perfect for relaxation. Large comfortable bed, dressing gowns, bathroom separate from the toilet. The staff were smart and pleasant.
We were able to walk to Montmartre, Notre Dame and the shopping area of Rue Lafayette.
The room clean and nice. the location is great, walkable distance to the Louvre Museum, Notre Dame, has metro nearby. And the stuffs are extremely nice and helpful! Because the hotel doesn’t have elevator, they helped to carry our luggages during checkin and checkout.
What truly stood out was their exceptional service: when I accidentally left my travel documents behind, they helped me find the documents and delivered it to me in Madrid in just one day!! That’s is amazing!
Rooms are quite small, rooms at front of hotel have a street view, while rooms toward the back just look into a "void" Everything was clean, staff extremely helpful. Location is fantastic, quick walk to Luxenburg gardens, St Germain area & Notre Dame etc.
We enjoyed our stay at Appartement Notre Dame and were impressed with how quiet it was for sleeping. Having the blackout shades in the bedroom was a real plus. Other reviews describe the apartment nicely and we found it quite large for a Paris flat. We followed a tip that a friend gave us. Don't use the Metro to get around, use the bus because you can see more and that is very true. We would highly recommend this place, especially to first-time visitors to Paris who can take advantage of all that the owner has to offer.
We walked to the hotel from the St. Michel metro exit. It took about 8 minutes. We walked to Notre Dame and St. Chappelle; 10 minutes. Perfect location. The rooms I reserved were pretty small but that’s ok-we were in Paris for 1 day between flights. Comfy, clean.
The Hotel du Vieux Paris was the perfect stay for our first time in Paris. It is situated right in the center of the city, an amazing location within very short walking distance to the bus stop, metro, amazing bakeries, and the city center main sites (St Chapelle, Notre Dame, etc). The staff was so welcoming, helpful and kind. Great bathroom and perfect room for our 4 days in Paris. Would absolutely recommend.
Excellent location, closest hostel I could find to the center of Paris (Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Notre Dame), a couple of minutes walk to the line 6 metro. Very clean, bunks had curtains for more privacy.

We found that the most crowded places were the Notre Dame church and the Champs-Elysees (specially on the blocks nearest the Arc)
Keep in mind this is Paris, crowds are a necessary evil. However, some spots are worse than others. We found that the most crowded places were the Notre Dame church and the Champs-Elysees (specially on the blocks nearest the Arc). For us, the jewel of the city is without doubt the Eiffel Tower, and luckily its gardens are so wide that the crowds end up spreading enough so that everyone has enough space, even for picnics (going up the tower is an entirely different matter, though!). Also, strolling the streets and parks can be less crowded, you just have to avoid the main streets near the main landmarks. Try the Luxembourg Garden or the Saint-Germain-des-Pres neighborhood.
