FES Group is delighted to have assisted with the installation of this gift for Calaiswood School in Dunfermline, Fife.

Emblem Schools Supports Accessible Roundabout Initiative    In March 2024, Emblem Schools Limited proudly gifted an accessible roundabout to Calaiswood School in Dunfermline, Fife.     Laura Spence, Headteacher, stated: “We are absolutely delighted to receive this very generous addition to our school playground in Calaiswood. Many of our pupils really enjoy the feeling of movement in play and this new accessible roundabout provides this experience. The benefit of this equipment is that every one of our pupils can access it which is so important in our school. We are very grateful to both Emblem/FES for the continued support they provide to our school and thank them for their genuine care and generosity.”    Greg Anderson, Pupils Assistant, added: “What an excellent addition to the playground of Calaiswood School. The young people are clearly delighted to be using the new accessible roundabout, which will no doubt bring smiles and giggles for a long time to come”.     Craig Pagett (IML), expressed his thanks to the Emblem Schools board for funding this initiative. He extended a special thanks to George Paterson (FES FM) and his team for coordinating the installation.      Built in 2007, Calaiswood School forms part of the Duloch Campus in Dunfermline, and it provides tailored education to children and young people with complex and additional support needs, and it is one of seven significant facilities overseen by IML, on behalf of Emblem Schools Limited and Fife Council. #InclusivePlay #SpecialNeedsEducation #AccessibilityMatters #CommunityImpact #SustainableInitiative #ESG #PPP #PFI #WheelchairAccessibility #EducationForAll #InclusiveLearning #SocialResponsibility #EmpowerEveryChild #SupportingCommunities #SustainabilityInAction#EmblemSchoolsLtd #ABRDN #3i #IRCP #FES #FESFM #IML #InfrastructureManagersLimited #CalaiswoodSchool #FifeCouncil

2 in a Row! On Thursday 18th April, the team from FES Group successfully defended their title as Champions League winners of the National Business Fives Ltd charity 5-aside football competition. The team won through the initial round robin stage to qualify for the Champions league knockouts, going on to win the overall event for the second year in a row. The full team from FES Group was Alan Joyce, Ryan Brown, Martin Abercromby, Chris Lamont, Paul Allum, Grant Anderson, Chris Blair, James Finlay and Declan Wood. Chris Lamont earned the coveted trophy for player of the match, in the final, chosen by ambassador, Kenny Miller. His exceptional performance played a pivotal role in guiding the team to victory and securing the prestigious Champions League title. Goalkeeper, Alan Joyce, also conceded just 7 goals throughout the day, including a crucial penalty save in the quarter finals, picking up the Golden Glove award for his efforts. However, the crowning achievement of the day was the team winning a charity donation of £2,200. This will be split 50/50 between Spifox (raising money for children’s charities in Scotland) and Marie Curie cancer care. https://lnkd.in/evTGEv5v
