Excessive rainfall across the islands could lead to flooding for some areas.

What You Need To Know

  • Heavy rain will continue overnight

  • Flood Watches are in effect through Monday morning

  • Roads and low lying areas could see some flooding

A cold front and upper-level trough are moving into the islands. The southerly wind flow will bring in additional tropical moisture, leading to slow-moving rain bands. The rain could be heavy at times.

Flood Watches are in effect until 6 a.m. Monday.

Flooding is possible due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams, especially on flood-prone roads and other low-lying areas.

Urban areas could deal with damage from the rapid runoff.

If you run into a flooded roadway, make sure to turn around and find a different route. You never know how deep the water really is and if the roads are damaged.
