Not a day goes by without a Kim Kardashian story hitting the headlines - whether it's a miscarriage scare, the latest on her engagement with hip hopper Kanye West, or even more baby news.

It's hard not to admire the newly-minted fashionista's style and impeccable poise. Hair experts Alan Buki and Wayne Lewis from Original & Mineral and Original A talk about to recreate Kim K's hairstyle, on display recently at a Beverley Hills lunch celebrating her cover for DuJour magazine.

Colour

Step 1: To take away the block-iness of the overall colour, look at adding a few cheeky light panels through the front, which will break up the hair and add personality to super straight locks. Use a free Powder Lightener like O&M, especially when someone is pregnant, to lessen the damage and stress on the hair. O&M's 100 per cent ammonia free products have no smell - great for pregnant women and their sensitive noses!
Step 2: Once panels are lightened, place a Liquid CCT rich brown into hair to blend the lightened panels through, feeding and nourishing the hair with a mixture of argan and macadamia oils.
Step 3: To lock in the colour, use O&M Power Base protein masque which will give hair an intense, double-action treatment to restore hair and moisturise.

Style

Step 1: Layer a nourishing thickening spritz like O&M's Atonic through the hair, then dry off to 80 per cent. Re-layer hair with the Atonic spritz and stretch it out with a paddle brush until 100 per cent dry, creating some fullness through the ends but keeping it smoother through the top.
Step 2: To give the hair extra volume, add AmoreHair Extensions from nape to crown, and then cut into shape.
Step 3: To make the hair look finished but not overly styled, spray O&M's Queenie hairspray liberally through the hair. Scrunch into the hair with hands, then brush out to create volume and width without making the hair look too super sleek or too polished.
