What Nicole Scherzinger Can’t Live Without

If you’re like us, you’ve probably wondered what famous people add to their carts. Not the JAR brooch and Louis XV chair but the hair spray and the electric toothbrush. We asked musician Nicole Scherzinger — who recently partnered with Hot Tools — about her “skin-tingling” face mist, candle that smells like Christmas, and go-to airport outfit.

Oh my God, I love these face masks. They’re like a beautiful, healthy drink for my skin. They have the best texture — it barely feels like there’s anything on your face. I primarily use them to prep my skin and get it in a really wonderful place before putting on makeup. My favorite’s the rose gold because it’s calming, tightening, and gives me a glow. It does everything.

This is a classic mist. Whatever oils are in it leave my skin tingling, and that’s my favorite part. It actually feels like it’s working to wake up the skin. I use it when I’m tired, especially when I’m done flying and need to freshen up. I use it to do a little touch up too since it’s illuminating.

I wish it could be Christmas all year round — just without the cold weather. This candle reminds me of that season, so it’s my new favorite. It has a fresh pine scent and is super-classy décor.

You know how most sanitizers like Purell have that weird slimy feel and strong smell? This spray doesn’t have that at all but still feels very cleansing and protective. The brand uses the best food-grade essential oils. Obviously, you can’t digest hand sanitizer, but it is nice to know, anyway. And the scent is invigorating and refreshing.

I recently decided to quit caffeine and started drinking this tea instead. I love turmeric and ginger because of their anti-inflammatory properties, and they just taste good. I’m actually drinking ginger tea as we speak.

I got into these in Europe where they’re more popular, but I don’t think they’ve caught on here. They’re like a big, cozy hug you can wear. I throw them on and wear them to the airport. I have them in so many different prints and colors. One looks like the Beverly Hills Hotel puked all over it. There are palm trees, very California. I have another supersoft fleece version that feels like a polar bear. Plus, they make great gifts for my nieces.

I was so stoked when Crocs came back in style. You kind of feel like you’re getting a massage while walking in these. And they’re super-light so they’re easy to travel with. It’s just a smart shoe. I specifically like tie-dye because the colors go with a lot. I put together cute travelling outfits wearing these.

My Masked Singer hair stylist freaked out about how healthy my hair was after using this so much. The steam gives my hair extra shine and less frizz. I’m all about keeping my body healthy, and that should apply to my hair as well. This uses 30 percent less heat than other styling tools, so it’s not as damaging, but you still get the same results. I play around with looks, so I like that this can straighten my hair or give me full, bouncy waves.
