Guy Fieri arrives at the World Series of Poker to debut 2023 Main Event bracelet

Las Vegas (KSNV) — The Mayor of Flavortown is putting his poker face on.

Guy Fieri arrived in fashion at the World Series of Poker's Main Event on Friday with an entrance that included a golf cart adorned in flames, flanked by The Knight Line presented by Drumbots, and ten WSOP ambassadors.

The chef and restaurateur was on hand to unveil this year’s highly coveted WSOP Main Event gold bracelet that a record number of participants will be vying for this week as the event begins to wrap up at the Horseshoe Las Vegas.

According to organizers, the 2023 Main Event gold bracelet is custom-made by Jostens and features about 500 grams of 10-karat yellow gold, 2,352 various precious gemstones, including 42 carats of round genuine diamonds, 425 black and red stones to accentuate the suits, and a removable golden poker chip that sits in the center of the bracelet.

This year's hardware will also include a special horseshoe incorporated into the design as a tribute to the WSOP’s return to the newly rebranded Horseshoe Las Vegas.

Over 10,000 entrants are all competing for sport's richest trophy, which also includes the richest tournament in live poker history at a staggering $12.1 million payout for the first-place winner.

Apart from the Main Event, players can compete in 25 other WSOP bracelet events, which are set to continue through the end of the tournament.
