McNeese State University Athletics

Twice named the McNeese athlete of the year, he was a standout linebacker from 1990 to 1993, helping the team win two league titles. He won the team's MVP award twice, was named to five all-America teams in his junior and sen­nior seasons and was twice named the Louisiana and the SLC defensive player of the year. He led the Cowboys in tackles three straight seasons with a high of 159 in 1993. He was drafted in the fourth round by Arizona and had a five year career. He received his degree in engineering technol­ogy from McNeese and added a master degree in manage­ment from SMU.
