Ian Somerhalder: Damon Salvatore

Ian Somehalder also known by his character name Damon Salvatore is an American actor, model and director. He is well known for playing the role of the main character as a Vampire in The CW’s supernatural drama ‘The Vampire Diaries’.
Ian has played the role of various versatile characters like ‘Boone Carlyle’ in the hit show ‘Lost’, the role of assassin in the movie ‘Tournament, and ‘Damon Salvatore’ as a vampire in the hit series ‘The Vampire Diaries for which he received several Teen’s Choice Award and a People’s Choice Award . He began his directing career from the third season of The Vampire Diaries as he directed it himself. He has also been casted the film ‘Time Framed’ and in the role of Dr. Luther Swann as a series regular in Netflix Vampire Drama series ‘V-Wars’. He launched ‘Ian Somerhalder Foundation’ on his 32nd birthday in hope that this foundation will help people educate and aware on the importance of protecting the environment and animals. He is also a celebrity campaigner for RYOT that is a Los Angeles based media Company. Along with these he supports the ‘It Get Better Project’ whose goal is to prevent suicide amongst the LGBT Youth. Ian married Nikki Reed in April 2016 and they have a beautiful Baby Girl Bodhi Soleil.
