Mamaia

Mamaia is the most important seaside resort in Romania , being a close neighbor of Constana . This town has an interesting location. It is located on the spit that separates the open sea from Lake Siutghiol. It began to develop as a holiday destination in the second half of the 20th century. Previously, it was a quiet, sleepy fishing village. There is really a lot going on there at the moment in the high season. Numerous hotels and beach bars attract crowds of tourists from Romania and from abroad.

The long, sandy and wide beaches are quite well developed. An interesting fact is the gondola lift that runs from the Aqua Magic aquapark more or less to the middle part of the spit. A ride on it allows you to admire the views, and also efficiently move around the resort.
