At the main square in Montenegro’s former royal capital of Cetinje, popular rock singer Nikola Radunovic is painting a blue and yellow Ukrainian flag, honouring the victims of the Russian invasion.
Along with dozens of others from Cetinje, every day since February 28, rock band Perper’s lead singer has attended protest walks against the war in Ukraine.
“This town was always against injustice, and now we are raising our voices against the invasion of Ukraine,” he told BIRN.
“We are not protesting against the Russian people but against their leader, Vladimir Putin, and his devastating politics,” Radunovic told BIRN.
