#1: Ann Ward

I was a die-hard Ann fan in my first watch of the cycle, and I guess nothing changed except for the fact that in my second watch I ended up loving a few other girls too. Ann is probably the biggest freak of nature I’ve ever seen, but that’s what I love about her. She has these really unconventional features that when combined together make for great photos, but she’s also the type of girl that isn’t afraid to say that her ideal man is a 60 year old warlock (still laughing about that conversation).

Ann was undoubtedly the best photo model of the cycle. I mean, the girl got first call-out 6 times. It was pretty obvious the entire time that she would wind up the winner, since this was a high fashion cycle based mainly on photos. Her runway walk was absolutely atrocious though. I cringed every time I saw her walk down the runway (except for the final one where it came across more quirky than terrible). If this had been any other cycle, I don’t think Ann would have won.

Post-ANTM, Ann has collected all of her prizes as the winner of the cycle. I’m not sure how much work she has gotten since then, since I haven’t heard about much work of hers, but I’m sure she’s still managing to get work here and there since she’s a really bookable girl.

This photo is good, but I don’t think it’s nearly as fawn-worthy as the judges made it out to be.
