Not a fan. Just did the data transfer to the new phone and am in the process of erasing and resetting. The files (photos. videos, and audio files) transferred over. However, the date stamp was incorrect on most files! The newly saved date was the date and time of the transfer :/ This does not work for me!! I need to know the correct date of my screenshots and audio files. So now I am going to start the process over with a different app.... Update: Used the Clone Phone app. Much faster than this

It starts to work. Gets to about 1/3 through. Then forgets it's connected and asks to scan a code that does not exists. Then you can try to connect manually agian and it gives a dark screen with no options forever. A pretty solid fail. Now the app will not even run on the new phone. It just crashes repeatedly. Even after a reeboot

UPDATE 9/13/2020: Still excellent! Ran into problems with my new phone over two years out and had to send it in for warranty repair with Google (they agreed to fix it for free). Had to downgrade temporarily back to an old beater phone for a week or two until the freebie fix was done. Transfer app still working great! But please be reasonable. The more data you have, the longer it will take. It appears to use a wifi connection between the devices to transfer, so this will run between 1 Mbps to the highest I've seen is 30 Mbps right next to each other. In other words, this is super slow! On a phone with about 50 GB worth of data, it took 3+ hours to transfer. Once you're done, you also have to select the option to use Transfer as your default SMS client, as this will allow the app to import your messages and write them to the local device (although I'm unclear why this is required...?). #tremendous ORIGINAL REVIEW 10/1/2017: Excellent app! Just got a new Android phone and used it to migrate all my content (including text messages) to the new phone. These were both unlocked phones I bought outside Verizon, so it doesn't have to be Verizon carrier phones. Due to the amount of data (22 GB), I let it run overnight. It used my wireless network.
