Prizes

There are four competition regions - The Americas, Europe, Middle East/Africa, and Asia-Pacific. In addition to an overall global winner, there will be one winner from each region, all judged by the Global Academic Panel.

Global winners

The global winners and their professor receive a seven-day trip to San Francisco, including one day at the Google Headquarters in Mountain View, California to meet with Googlers from the AdWords and Marketing teams. The global winning team will also receive brandnew laptops, along with other prizes!

Regional winners

Regional winners and their professor receive a trip to a regional Google office. The regional winners will also receive laptops, as well as other prizes!

Social Media Award WinnersNew

The Regional and Global Social Media Winners will receive a cool tablet and an exciting opportunity to participate in a Google+ Hangout with Google senior executives (to be scheduled at Google’s discretion). In addition, the Global winners will be invited to attend a major social media conference to be held within their region.

Social Impact Award winners

Teams working with non-profit organizations are, aside from being eligible for the Global and Regional prizes, also eligible to win a Social Impact Award (previously known as NGO Impact Award) given to the top performing teams, judged by the Social Impact Award Panel.  Winning non-profit teams will receive the following:

●      1st place - $15,000 donation to the non-profit partner

●      2nd place - $10,000 donation to the non-profit partner

●      3nd place - $5,000 donation to the non-profit partner
